It will buy almost any non-standard or illiquid asset as an independent and unconnected third party from a UK or international pension, or an investment bond. This will enable the pension fees or investment bond charges for the asset to be removed, and where required, the pension to be transferred, paid out, or an investment bond to be closed.
Where required, Occam's Remedy can also provide the option of enabling a pension to receive the majority of any significant future value that could emerge from the asset, after asset pursuit costs, in the future. This can offer a protection facility for the trustee should a significant value arise from the asset in the future.
